Over 15 years, Linda has worked as a freelance beauty consultant with Holt Renfrew and other stores, and as acting manager for one of the busiest Spa/Day retreats in the City. She studied the art of gentle hair removal at the acclaimed Sugar Moon in Toronto and is committed to making hair removal as painless as possible by mastering the art of “the gentle release.” Now partner at Spa Junkie, she is happy to be able to realize her vision of providing efficient, fast service in an elegant surrounding. She loves that at Spa Junkie you can get in and out quickly, but if you want to stay all day, you can!
Hi! I am Keisha. I am a receptionist here at Spa Junkie and I absolutely love it!
I was born and raised in Ottawa but my family is from a beautiful little island in the Caribbean called St. Lucia.
Currently, I attend Ottawa’s Versailles Academy, studying to become a Medical Esthetician. It took me a long time to figure out what I wanted to do for the rest of my life but I am so happy that I chose this career path.
I have struggled with acne and hyperpigmentation, and as a person of colour, it is hard to find skincare and treatments that work well for my skin type. The relief that comes with discovering such products and treatments exist is something I love to share with the clients who walk through Spa Junkie’s doors. It would be my dream to make everyone’s skincare problems a thing of the past.
At Spa Junkie, I will be there to greet and assist you and ready to help as you find your beauty solutions.
Originally from Edmonton, Jennifer has been an esthetics professional for over twenty years providing services such as facials and sugaring. She is always keen to learn and do more for her clients. One of her favourite aspects of the job is witnessing the positive transformations she is able to create, using products like GM Collin — one of her most loved products. When she is not working or spending time with family she is often practicing hot yoga, skiing or walking her dog.
New to Spa Junkie, Amy is an Ottawa native. For a lady so young, she has already been in the industry an impressive amount of time. Amy says that “she fell in love with making people feel good.” Ten years later, she still feels that love and we are very happy that the clients she will be making feel good are here at Spa Junkie. Her favourite service is sugaring with make-up application running a close second. Amy’s preferred products include Bota Peptide eye contour and the Jane Iredale pressed powder. In her free time you’ll find Amy enjoying her family and listening to music.
Our lovely Diana initially entered the beauty industry at a young age in her family’s own salon. After working in and studying esthetics for many years, Diana left salon life only to return to her passion for beauty. Diana is known for her soft, gentle touch in waxing and sugaring, and is equally adept at meticulously shaping brows for her devoted clientele. A big fan of the Age Smart Line from Dermologica, this second generation beauty professional relies on her over fifteen years of experience to provide expert, efficient service. Diana loves what she does, and it shows.
Hi I’m Maria! I am originally from Toronto. I feel esthetics is an art that allows me to “bring out the best and most beautiful side of myself and everyone around me.”
I like to think my love of painting is revealed in my clients’ makeup application as I recreate the landscapes I’ve been exposed to on my travels. Working with Yonka is especially enjoyable, as it appreciates the light, natural fragrances and the fresh glow and feeling it leaves on the skin.
Always looking for beauty, in art and in life, I am eager to learn more and remain constantly creative.
Meet Nina! There is a new face on the floor at Spa Junkie. We are delighted to introduce Nina. Nina hails from the Ukraine and began her career in esthetics on arrival to Canada eleven years ago. Originally a nail technician, Nina expanded on her skills by taking courses in waxing, sugaring and skin care. She has since become a specialist in the art of the Brazilian and the product that she most likes to recommend to her clients is the GM Collin GF Serum. We invite you to come in and meet Nina, our newest professional at Spa Junkie.
